Archive for the 'Linux Books' Category

I went to the library and all I got was …

… this book:

Van Vugt

Roughly translated the title is “Setting up a Linux Server”. It’s written by Sander van Vugt, who has already written quite a few good dutch books on several Linux or Linux-related topics.
OpenSuse 10.2 and Fedora 6 are also supplied on two DVD discs. (A bit outdated, I know).

Since I’m going to try and turn my current desktop into a home/file/dicking about/whatever – server, I thought this could be some interesting reading material to help me brush up on my ’server skills’.

If I get anywhere with it, I’ll be sure to post about it here.
Then again, it might turn out to be another one of my ‘I-want-to-learn-new-and-cool-things-but-I-get-bored-too-quickly’ projects. So you’ll just have to wait and see…
